Meet the Author

Lisa Molina is a lifelong educator, homeschool mom, and passionate advocate for inclusion. With years of experience teaching children of all abilities, she understands how powerful stories can be in shaping empathy, confidence, and connection.

Inspired by her own family’s journey and her heart for helping children feel seen and valued, Lisa created Abby Can… PLAY! as the first book in a series that celebrates the abilities, strengths, and joy of children with Down syndrome.

Her mission is simple:
To help every child feel loved, included, and capable just as they are.

When she’s not writing, Lisa enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and creating faith‑centered devotionals for families.
